Strong together at the company run at Lake Möhnesee – a resounding success despite record heat

Team spirit at over 30°C: 29 colleagues complete the company run at Lake Möhnesee with endurance and good spirits.

On July 2, 2025, it was once again time for many colleagues at Franz Brinkmann GmbH to lace up their running shoes and show true team spirit – at the popular company run at Lake Möhnesee. This year, however, our athletic ambitions were put to a very special test: with temperatures exceeding 30°C, the event demanded not just endurance, but true willpower.

All the more impressive was the turnout: 29 of our 38 registered employees took on the challenge despite the heat and completed the nearly 7-kilometer route with great energy, good spirits, and mutual encouragement. Team spirit was clearly the main focus – but the athletic achievements were also remarkable.

Our fastest finishers
Special recognition goes to our three fastest runners, who were honored last week at our company:

🥉 Tobi – with a strong performance in third place

Congratulations to all three of you – and of course to everyone else who rose to this challenge!

A guest who already feels like part of the team
A true highlight this year was the participation of Daniela Köfler, whom many of us know from a very different context: last year, she guided us with great commitment through our successful certification according to DIN EN ISO 9001. That close collaboration left a lasting impression – in the best possible way. Daniela now already feels like part of our team. The fact that she joined us at the starting line this year sent a strong message and truly made us happy.

More than just a run
The evening didn’t end with the race: with cold drinks and a selection of fresh pizza, we wrapped up the day in a relaxed and cheerful atmosphere. These kinds of moments not only strengthen team cohesion but also provide space for conversations away from the daily work routine – and that’s exactly what makes this company run so special for us every year.

Appreciation that motivates
A wonderful trend: thanks to our organizer Hanna, the number of participants grows every year. Her dedication doesn’t go unnoticed – our management greatly values the athletic commitment and togetherness shown during the company run. Events like this showcase what defines our company: solidarity, motivation, and joy in shared experiences – even outside of work.
