Tradition and innovation since 1928
BRISTA’s company and success story began almost 100 years ago. In 1928, company founder Franz Brinkmann started producing drawing pins and upholstery nails in a small, 5-man business in Ense Lüttringen. Today, the BRISTA management is in its fourth generation. Many things have changed since the early days: the size of the production halls has increased many times over, as has our service spectrum. BRISTA has a modern production machinery pool and currently employs around 210 people.
Our company has undergone constant and sometimes rapid development, but what defined us then, as now, is our passion for the fascinating possibilities of steel. This is reflected in every product and every service – and even in our company name, because BRISTA is a fusion of the Brinkmann family name with the German word “Stahl”, or steel, our most important material. Furthermore, we have always assumed responsibility for our actions, for the resources we use, for the environment, and for people.
Our 25,000 square-metre-large hall space is the heart of Brista
Our hall space covering around 25,000 square metres is the heart of our company. This is where we produce, finish and store our own metal goods, as well as products that we manufacture or coat for our customers. Our customers can always rely on our decades of experience and professional know-how. A high degree of flexibility is another thing that sets us apart. We can take over the entire value-added process chain for our customers’ products – from the planning through to the logistics – or just individual steps such as the metal machining and/or subsequent finishing. As a full service provider, we offer our customers the option of temporarily storing their products or components on our premises before the surface treatment or having the finished metal goods shipped on call from our warehouse using our fleet of trucks.
We invest in state-of-the-art technologies
Especially in today’s fast-moving world, it is essential for a successful company to deploy the very latest technology. This makes us as competitive as possible or even gives us clear advantages over our competitors. The use of innovative technologies guarantees our customers maximum flexibility and an outstanding product quality. All of these aspects are why we are aware that every euro invested in the very latest technology is money well spent.
To offer our customers a broad range of products and be able to meet special requests, we use many different technologies to create perfectly synchronised processes. These range from roll forming, robotic welding and laser cutting, punching and folding, through to surface finishing using hot-dip galvanising and powder coating processes. We use all the technologies for our own products as well as for contract manufacturing for industrial companies and craft and trade businesses.
Modern machinery
With our modern machinery and robotic systems we can quickly and precisely roll form, punch, perforate and deform metals. However, we are ideally equipped not only where the machinery is concerned but also with our workforce. This basis enables us to fulfil the demanding requirements and individual wishes of our customers at all times. We place a special emphasis on providing our customers with competent and personal consulting services and ensuring that they can rely on reliable, streamlined and precise processes from the planning stage through to delivery of their products.
Our state-of-the-art hot-dip galvanising shop leaves fulfils every requirement in terms of performance and efficiency. It is perfectly complemented and extended by the powerful grinding and powder coating plants. This combination creates short distances and bundles synergies, and in doing so gives our customers a decisive competitive advantage.

Without competent and committed employees, a company will not succeed even with the very latest systems and innovative technology. Our BRISTA team is the backbone of our company and our stand-out asset. We currently have around 210 employees, who do us proud.
What makes our workforce so special is its genuine team spirit. This can be seen in how we treat one another with respect and actively support each other when challenges arise, for example. Our employees think and act in a consistently service-oriented manner, and always strive to find the best solution to meet our customers’ high and specific requirements.
